This project consisted of approximately 70,000 cubic meters of earthworks and 2ha of liner to further develop the east landfill at the Glenbrook site. The project was designed by Tonkin & Taylor. The landfill is constructed over soft alluvial clays. Instruments are installed to monitor porewater and settlements as fill is placed. The liner install requires vigorous testing with permeability tests ultimately determining the suitability of the liner.
